Participants will gain tools for identifying systemic racism and privilege, and for taking meaningful action to challenge racism and enhance their allyship to people of color.
As a result of this training, participants will:
**Gain a deepened understanding of institutionalized racism/privilege, and how racism/privilege continues to divide our families and community, as well as defeat movements for social change
**Recognize the intersections of oppressions in the context of our work to address racism
**Understand how different parts of one’s identity intersect and influence how they experience discrimination
**Increase their knowledge of power and privilege
**Learn how to use their privilege to increase equities for those with less privilege
**Develop a foundation for taking meaningful action, as individuals and organizations, in identifying and confronting systemic racism
